$20.00 License Fee:
Master
Journeyman

Building Contractor License:
Class A & B - $100.00
Class C & D - $75.00

A copy of the business license along with any master or journeyman license from Sedgwick County or Wichita must accompany the application. 

A general certificate of insurance for one million dollars ($1,000,000.00) must also accompany application or be sent by insurance carrier or faxed to the city office at 777-4081.

BUILDING CONTRACTORS LICENSE CLASSIFICATIONS

Building Contractors must be licensed according to the classifications:

Class A License: Building, remodeling or repairing of any structure or addition. Contractors yearly fee will be $100.00.

Class B License: Building, remodeling or repairing where total value of all labor and materials do not exceed five hundred thousand dollars ($500,00000). Contactors yearly fee will be $100.00.

Class C License: Building or remodeling where total value of all labor and materials do not exceed one hundred thousand dollars ($100,000.00). Contractors yearly fee will be $75.00.

Class D License: Remodeling room additions, existing structures, building of private garages, driveways, roofing, siding and wrecking contracts, where total value of all labor and materials do not exceed twenty thousand dollars ($20,000.00). Contractors yearly fee will be $75.00.
