The city bills have gone out with the new sewer rate increase on them on April 25th, 2010.  The sewer bills are averaged from the water usage that each customer consumed during the months of Dec., Jan., & Feb.  The new customer charge each month is now $21.00 in addition to $5.25 for each 1,000 gallons of your average.  The city average is 4,000.  The cost of the city average sewer rate is $42.00.  If you are a new customer that will be your average until next Dec., Jan., & Feb. until you establish your own average.
