Council Members

		Shawn Townson
		Councilman Shawn Townson took his first public office in April in 2007.  He is a 14 year resident of Mulvane and a serviceman for Kansas Gas Service.  His wife teaches school in Rose Hill.  He has two children Natalie and Brady.  He enjoys music, kite flying, working on the computer and spending time with his family.  He is active in the Adult choir in his church.  He also leads music for one of the youth groups at his church.
		Doug Hatfield
		Councilman Hatfield took his first public office in April 2003. He is a 12 year resident of Mulvane and is the Senior Vice President for Docuplex Graphics in Wichita. He is married to Mae Beth and has two sons and one daughter. His wife, Mae Beth, is a library aide at Munson Primary School. Councilman Hatfield is active in coaching youth sports here in Mulvane.
		Joe Johnson
		Councilmen Johnson took office in April 2oo5.  He has been a resident of Mulvane for 42 years.  Joe taught biology for 35 years at the Mulvane High School and he continues to work as a para of technology at MHS.  He retired in May 2007.  He has been married for 42 years to his wife Vickie and they share 2 married sons and 2 granddaughters.  He is an amatuer radio operator, enjoys traveling, photography and showing his Mustang and Bronco in car shows.
		Terry Richardson
		Councilman Richardson took office for his first term in April 1997 and was re-elected in April 2005. He has owned and operated the Mulvane Pharmacy since 1978. His wife is Flossie and they have two children. His daughter is a nurse in the pediatrics unit at St. Francis and his son is in residency in Urology in Omaha, Neb. Councilman Richardson enjoys golf and antique cars.
		Jenean Keck
		Councilwoman Keck took office for her first term in April 2005.  She has been a resident of Mulvane for 35 years.  She is a registered nurse with a Masters in Science from WSU.  She was a flight nurse for 20 years with Life Watch and currently works in the emergency room.  She is now a Clinical Adviser.  She has been married to Gerald Keck for 34 years.  She has 3 children. 2 step children and 9 grandchildren.  She enjoys home decorating, upholstery and old cars.                                                                             updated by                                                                    Julie McCullough                                                                          2009-4-28
