The customer's sewer charge is based on the average water consumption for the months of December, January, & February. Once the sewer average is established, the customer will pay that amount all year.  

It is important to fix any known leaks before the City begins the averaging process.  Any increase in water usage during these three months will affect your sewer charge for the year.

Rates for residential sewer are:  $21.00 customer charge plus $5.25 for every 1000 gallons of water used in your average.

New customers will pay $42.00 per month until they have established their own average.  This is based on the city average of 4,000 gallons of water.
